Mutukula Airport is located in the town of Mutukula, in Rakai District, in southern Central Uganda, at the International border with the Republic of Tanzania. It lies approximately 161 kilometres (100 mi), by air, southwest of Entebbe International Airport, Uganda's largest civilian and military airport.[2] The geographic coordinates of this airport are .
Mutukula Airport is a small civilian and military airport that serves the town of Mutukula. The airport has a single unpaved runway, whose exact dimensions are unknown as of August 2011. The airport is situated at 3,999 feet (1,219 m) above sea level and sits just east of the Kakuuto-Masaka Road.[3]
